The very first thing to do is

Start Easy

When trekking for the first time always plan your trek allowing ample rest time. Although selecting a short and relevantly easy trek trail, when trekking for the first time is recommended, however it too should be planned leaving room to rest along the way. Remember first time trekking is a hard experience as nothing can in reality offer the taste of trekking uphill and downhill in Nepal, until you experience it first hand on the trek.
Also resting will not only help you restore energy, but will also offer time to appreciate the beauty surrounding you, as literally it is spread everywhere in Nepal.

Get a Guide

Many people prefer to move on ahead without a guide, and while it may not matter much in the completion of your trek trip, however you will definitely lose about 75% of the information about the area and locals, without a proper guide. Also it is recommended that you find an experienced guide who can help in dealing with any problems that are bound to arise on the first trip, even if it is about you getting sick on elevated areas.

Forget Luxury

Do not expect or crave luxury on these spots, as firstly you might probably not find it anywhere, and secondly, this is not what you are here for. Enjoy the natural beauty and prove your survival and endurance skills in Nepal.

Pay Attention to Your Body

Remember your body and strength are the main pillars on which you will be completing the trek tour and so pay attention and listen to them. If your body feels tired, take rest and don’t push it. If you feel weak, take a short break and an energy snack, you buck you up.

Rent, Rent, Rent!

If you are not a frantic trekker or a professional, it is best you hire your gear and equipment at Kathmandu or Pokhara instead of buying it and dragging it all around. You can easily find rental items of all kinds, even warm clothes that can be used and returned, without laboring any extra baggage.

So this is it, my list of Nepal trekking tips, follow them and enjoy the trip!
